TRYING TO BE PRODUCTIVE

Good evening! I changed the logo of the blog! Do you like the new one?

I also have some good and bad news. The bad news is that my planned 6 weeks holiday from work is not happening and my thesis writing process is going to be veryyyy slow. Good news is that I got a job- a good one! The other good news is that I’m moving into a new apartment in a month or so. And I’m obsessed with how beautiful the new place is! I’ve been writing my thesis at home in Helsinki, and the process is slow but it’s going somewhere. And diamonds are made under pressure am I right? I took some pictures Yesterday while doing my daily chores and chilling. I start my new job right after the 1st of May (A traditional bank holiday in Finland when everyone is celebrating for the beginning of summer). This year everyone has to stay inside their homes and gatherings needs to be avoided due to the COVID-19. However, we have big plans for that day and I’m planning to share some content here as well.

But here is a short version of what I do in a day:

08:00 (just kidding not waking up until 9:00) Eating breakfast (usually tea and porridge)

10:30 Finding references to my thesis and trying to figure out the structure of the theory part in the thesis.

14:00 Getting tired of reading and writing so I went to my room and organised my things and packed some of my stuff (such as my high heels and makeup because no one needs them in quarantine) to moving boxes already. I like moving slowly so I always know where everything is rather than panic packing. I was also trying to find some interior ideas from Pinterest to my new place and added some items to my IKEA shopping cart already.

You can find me from Pinterest here

18:00 I made a frozen pizza for dinner (yep I can’t be bothered to cook anymore) and watched some Tiger King with Tinja.

21:00 I usually go to bed quite early if I’m not Facetiming Fraser on that day because I’m trying to get into that office times routine again. I was just reading a book in bed before falling asleep- it calms me down much better than staring at the phone.

I hope you’re all having a productive week and are staying healthy and safe. I’ll get back to you soon with my 1st of May celebration content! Speak to you soon!
