August Vibes

It’s time again for another blog post.

I feel like August lasted for 5 minutes instead of 31 days. It went so quickly with everything going on with the renovation, training to Tough Mudder obstacle run I’m planning to attend in October, working and meeting up with friends. I have also been not feeling the most excellent recently, but hopefully, my sick days are behind me for now.

Also, the second semester of my Master’s studies will begin in a couple of weeks, so I’m looking forward to that. Then I will be able to write more about that. Here are some photos from August for you to enjoy!

The views in my evening run were stunning so I had to stop and take a photo!

Another beautiful photo from Jesmond Dene.

I went to work in the university library to maximise productivity.

Delicious hot chocolate for cold mornings.

Pret A Manger have the best lunch - I had their chicken salad with sliced mango.

The basil plants that Fraser started growing in February have grown so much.

Me on my way for a run - I have been trying to exercise for the oncoming obstacle run as much as I can.

We went to Edinburgh for a day and it did remind me how much I love it - definitely need to visit soon again.

Did you know that Edinburgh Castle is on top of a volcano (not active)?

The views on the drive from Newcastle to Edinburgh were beautiful, I really want to go for a road trip to Scotland soon.

Let's catch up soon again xx
