I love spring.
It reminds me of new beginnings, fresh starts.
The weather getting warmer, and colder and then warmer again is cheeky.
Sunshine through blinds warms us up and reminds us that summer is on its way.
For me spring is all about flowing rivers, daffodils, pink cherry trees and drinking cold drinks instead of tea.
But it’s also seasonal flu, allergies and forgetting the jacket home when it’s still cold outside.
There is magic in spring.
I always say that my favourite time of the year is spring, excluding summer.
Spring is the time of the year when earth awakes, we see smiles on the streets, people are more cheerful and open.
It’s also time for deadlines before the holidays, last sprint before freedom.
I have been feeling so well recently. I feel like my mind has finally settled itself living in the UK. The last thing that was required was gyms and public places opening again. I have been working out since 12th of April almost every day just because I can. My body is screaming for a break but I am just happy to see it getting stronger again. Soon I will be able to lift as heavy weights as six months ago! At that makes me incredibly happy. When people say that sports is beneficial for mental health they are not lying.
I took these photos within the last few weeks just to appreciate the beauty of nature and lovely weather we have had a chance to enjoy recently.
Right now I have started to write my university assignments (I forgot how painful it is just to sit and find references for every single sentence you write), working out and starting to see some of my uni friends (finally!). I have also been planning to start working soon, so job hunting is ON. We are waiting to get the keys to the new flat - renovation content coming soon! I’m genuinely so excited about summer I know it’s going to be great🌞
