Well, hello again,
As always, it’s been a while since I have been writing something here. But I’m alive and back with my lockdown stories.
As expected, the lockdown didn’t last only mid-February, but it seems that we’re going to be staying in until April (when hairdressers, non-essential shops etc., are allowed to open). We have started many new hobbies during the past few months, but I think the recent one has been boxing inside – and let me tell you, it’s amazing! I have also done Much baking, watched Netflix, had daily walks and started running again. We want the gyms and hairdressers to open soon so badly - workout and haircut is much needed.
The past month has been a war against technology. I have had some technical issues with the university, from errors when downloading SPSS (a system used to analyse information from research), fees being wrong, to changing into a shorter version of my programme. But it hasn’t been the only university - I have also had to contact my bank several times because apparently, it’s impossible to manage your account while being abroad. And don’t even get me started on moving money from one bank account to another! But it seems that I’m finally winning the war. If anyone is ever planning to move to the UK – deal with everything concerning finance before leaving Finland!

Right now, my daily overall mood is excellent – it's sunny and warm which means that Spring is on its way! I have also had many constructive chats with myself on my short-term and long-term goals, how I want my life to be, and made a huge difference in my attitude towards setbacks. I think people should always be ready to change their toxic habits to be better versions of themselves. We are never ready as individuals, and we should be learning continuously.
I put some of the photos I have taken here to give some insight into what we have been doing and how life has been here. But we’re doing well, and hopefully, this lockdown will end soon. Have a nice weekend, everyone and stay healthy!
